Growing in Christ's Love... Open to All... Dedicated to Service...
First Presbyterian Church's Fellowship Events
Because a sense of community expresses caring, we offer many opportunities to become involved in activities that will foster that sense. Fellowship activities throughout the year help hold us in community as an entire congregation. We like to have fun together! Our weekly First Cafe is a chance to get together and gab over a cup of coffee after the early service or before the later service. Our Winter Dinner, Seder, Family Fun Festival, Family Fall Outing, and our Advent Celebration are traditions drawing large numbers. We also meet in small groups supporting a wide variety of interests:
Our church is committed to caring for each other after the way of Jesus. This caring is genuine and expressed in many acts of love toward each other and the wider church community. Our Board of Deacons carry out this ministry of caring. Our church is divided into 12 flocks, each under the care of a Deacon. In addition our Pastors are available for home and hospital visits and pastoral counseling. Our Parish Nurse team attends to the medical needs of our congregation. When people become a member of our church, we want them to know that they will be cared for with the love of Jesus.
