G.I.R.L.S. Class (Women only) - Library The GIRLS' class meets for Bible study that covers a range of topics often geared to the interests of Christian women. During Lent and Advent they seek a special short-term study that guides them on a journey of being in God's prescence for these seasons of celebration. Currently they are following the Revised Common Lectionary curriculum "Season of the Spirit". As they study together each week, they are Growing In The Richness of Living Scripture. Their discussion time is also an opportunity to share individual joys and concerns and care for each other as sisters in Christ. All women are welcome to join them.
Rowdies - Room D The Rowdies are studying the book of Ephesians. Written by best-selling author, John MacArthur, the study is broken into 12 lessons; each covering about 15 verses. Paul's letter to the church at Ephesus was written to encourage the early Christians to live a transformed life through the power of the Holy Spirit. Ephesians provides a concise summary of New Testament doctrine and provides a practical blueprint for Christian behavior. Join our group to discover that all things "good" that we enjoy are an expression of God's love for us.
Adult Bible Study Church Parlor 10 AM - This group digs into the lessons that will be used in Morning Worship on the next Sunday. Exploring the historial content of these lessons, they gain a greater understanding of how these scriptrues were first understood. Our curriculum "Seasons of the Spirit", includes music and activity sheets for each participant. As you come to Worship on Sunday, you will have a clearer, deeper understanding of what God is saying to you.
When a child is baptized the congregation promises to "guide and nurture by word and deed, with love and prayer the individual child being presented for baptism." Yet, we don't stop there. As faithful members, we also promise to "encourage the child to know and follow Christ and to be a faitful member of his church."
